SUPERVISOR DIGITAL IMAGING SPECIALIST

The following are the duties of this position at the GS-09. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. - Supervises a subordinate staff consisting of Digital Imaging Clerks and Technicians, GS- 3 through GS-5. Is responsible for the quality and quantity of work produced by employees directly under his/her supervision. - Determines daily staffing needs based on backlog and incoming agency workload projections. Plans work schedules for projects. Sets priorities and makes adjustments as necessary to accomplish tasks. Assures appropriate distribution of work to meet schedules and deadlines. - Develops and writes procedures regarding work assignments and policies. Coordinates with supervisors or specialists of other operations concerning matters of work accomplishments, priorities, and procedures. Experience:
For the GS-09, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Suggesting improvements in digital imaging processes; AND - Preparing technical written materials on project issues, such as reports, standard operating procedures, manuals or correspondence; AND - Providing leadership to teams/units to support team engagement and ensure effective and efficient work methods. OR You may qualify with a Master's or equivalent degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work OR a LL.B or J.D, in a field related to this position. OR You may qualify on a combination of education and experience. To combine education and experience, the total percentage of experience at the required grade level compared to the requirement, as well as the percentage of completed education compared to the requirement must equal at least 100 percent. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 18 semester hours (27 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education. For the GS-07, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Converted analog textual records, photographs, maps, and microforms into digital formats; AND - Monitoring and tracking progress toward project goals. OR One full year of graduate level education; or Superior Academic Achievement based on a Bachelors degree that is demonstrated through class standing (upper 1/3 of class); grade point average (3.0/4.0 overall or 3.5/4.0 in major), or election to membership in a qualifying national scholastic honor society. OR You may qualify on a combination of education and experience. To combine education and experience, the total percentage of experience at the required grade level compared to the requirement, as well as the percentage of completed education compared to the requirement must equal at least 100 percent. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-09, you must have been at the GS-07 level for 52 weeks. For the GS-07, you must have been at the GS-05 level for 52 weeks.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
